Seller's Narrative

It’s been more than 30 years since we moved here in Hercules from San Francisco. Our Iris Road home was one of the last two homes built/sold in this neighborhood back then. We picked this location with its premium lot and the panoramic view. We had to pay a few thousand dollars more for it, but it was well-worth the extra $$$ as we’ve enjoyed it tremendously. As the original homeowners moving from our smaller home in SF to a much larger house with a bigger lot, we knew we had a lot of work to do – especially in the backyard. We love the PANORAMIC views of the San Pablo Bay and the Valley – a brief glance takes us to a tranquil state. We built the Redwood Deck with an outdoor kitchenette – great for BBQ’s and outdoor entertaining, and we planted the Wisteria that blooms every spring with clusters of purple flowers. We enjoy the yearly bounty of 23 fruit trees: lemon, apples, persimmon (Japanese), Kalamansi (Citrus), pear, just to name a few. What we love about the house is that every room gives you a glimpse of the Bay and the valley. We’ve enjoyed our upgraded kitchen with high-end appliances, and the beautiful cherry hardwood throughout the house – stunning and easy to clean! What we love most about the City of Hercules is the friends that we’ve come to know. Hercules is one diverse community, and we have known many people in the neighborhood and at St. Patrick’s church where we attend regularly. Now it’s time to pass it on to another family who will take care of it as much as we have. May you and your family enjoy and create wonderful memories in Iris Road house. Enjoy the view, and connect with the people in Hercules, a place we have called home for the last 30+ years!
